A name that became part of our story
For many years, Heartbeat Huggables was the name we gave to our collection of plush bears and animals, each designed to bring comfort, companionship and a little happiness to someone special.
The Bear Mill began in 2000, and in 2002 we introduced our heartbeat bears at a time when the concept was still relatively new.
Heartbeat Huggables became an important part of our company's identity and the beginning of a story that continues today.
Preserving precious moments
Our early heartbeat bears were created with a special purpose in mind: helping preserve memories and meaningful moments.
We developed our proprietary pocket closure to accommodate a recordable sound module or a personal note, allowing each bear to hold something especially meaningful.
Over the years, Heartbeat Huggables became a familiar name throughout our plush collection, reflecting the care and attention we brought to every product.
From Heartbeat Huggables to The Bear Mill today
As the years passed, The Bear Mill continued to grow and evolve. Our collection expanded, and we began helping businesses, organisations, authors and independent creators develop their own custom-designed plush characters.
While Heartbeat Huggables remains an important part of our history, our focus today includes wholesale plush products, custom plush manufacturing and other specially sourced merchandise.
Recordable sound modules are not currently in stock, but the care and creativity behind Heartbeat Huggables remain part of The Bear Mill's story.
