The Wooden Door 

In the woods, growing behind a beautiful field full of flowers, there is a row of bushes. Taking a stroll through the woods, you would not pay much attention to them. The bright bluebells, sunny yellow buttercups, and purple lavender flowers would catch your eye instead. But I’ll let you in on a little secret. If you look really hard at the bushes in the afternoon sun, something magical happens.

Within the bushes, a twinkle that looks like sunlight is actually magic from a special place called Mills Beary Village. Anyone with a kind heart can look past the rays of sunlight and, right before their eyes, a heavy wooden door will appear.

If you are one of the rare people who can see this door, you might ask yourself what a large wooden door is doing standing in the middle of the woods, but if you look closer, you will see a faded old sign under a green blanket of moss. Look closer still, and you will read the words that invite you to enter a world of wonder: “Welcome to Mills Beary Village.”

Duffels Bear

Duffels lives at The Bear Mill nestled in a magical forest. Duffels never ages and has created many friends in his enchanted world over his long life span. Most importantly he has created a family of SnipPets who live at the bear mill with him. This group of characters do not look like any ordinary plush toy because they have been made from snippets of fabric. However, Duffels believes that we all are equal and have a very important place in the world, no matter our differences.

The SnipPets live at The Bear Mill, which is located in Mills Beary Village. On this farm, the most amazing things happen.  Because you see on this farm is The Bear Mill, where magical stuffed animals come to life!  But, if you want to visit Mills Beary Village and meet all of The Bear Mill friends, you won’t be able to find it on any map.  It can be seen by only the most special people who have been invited to visit.

The SnipPets were created by Janis at Mills Beary Village in 2004. Join the SnipPets on their magical adventures.
