ASSISTANCE LEAGUE TEDDY BEAR PROGRAM
PROGRAM FAQS & DELIVERY PLANNING
Helpful information about ordering, production scheduling, shipping, and planning ahead for your chapter.
PLAN AHEAD FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE
The Assistance League Teddy Bear Program is manufactured to order and is not maintained as warehouse inventory. We encourage chapters to begin planning several months before their desired delivery timeframe. Early planning provides the greatest scheduling flexibility and helps us coordinate production and shipping more efficiently.
Are bears kept in inventory?
No. Bears are manufactured specifically for participating chapters and are not kept as warehouse inventory.
Has the bear already been designed and approved?
Yes. The bear design, materials, embroidery, and production specifications have already been approved and are production ready.
Chapters do not need to wait for design development, artwork creation, prototype approval, or sample revisions.
When should our chapter place an order?
We encourage chapters to place orders as early as possible once their chapter is ready.
Early ordering helps us plan production, coordinate shipping, and better support chapter delivery needs.
Do orders need to wait until a full shipping container is reached?
No.
Once an individual order or a combination of chapter orders reaches the factory’s minimum production quantity of 1,200 units, production can begin.
Orders do not need to wait for a full container to be filled before manufacturing starts.
How long does production take?
Once production begins, manufacturing typically requires approximately 8–10 weeks.
Ocean transportation and final distribution require additional time. Current timing details are provided on the Delivery Schedule & Payment Terms page.
What payment methods are accepted?
Chapters may pay by Credit Card, ACH/Bank Transfer, or Offline Payment as outlined during checkout.
